There are a lot of artist on here, and a lot of music, both good & bad. This band is one of the ones that top's my playlist every time!
I appreciate all the folks that place their music on here for us to enjoy, and there are a lot of good ones...
But The Kyoto Connection is one of the few that has created a truly unique sound among all the others. Selecting a favorite song from their two releases is near impossible, because they are all quality songs.
The use of Live Drums & Instruments with Sequinces & live vocals is not new, but they way the arrangemtas are done create a seemless unit that makes each song a pleasent listen, and is diverse enough for repeat listening.
These folks are a must download!
A very warm sounding album which is also well produced and performed. I was hooked from the first note.
Mysterious Cromleck, Fairwell Vietnam are my picks from this one.
This album tells a story, and takes you through it very well. This is not an album that you ignore, it is one that engaged me from start to finish.
Floating, Second Awakening, Little People, and Hollow City are my picks.
Put it on, turn it up to barely audible, and find yourself in a calm mood after a few minutes. A great background track.
Lots of texture, fun and quirky. Good production and arrangements. I have become a fan of AB after this one. Emptiness and After All 1 & 2 are my picks.
I enjoyed this simple, relaxing album. The production is good, and the melody's stick with you. Electricity and Beginning are my picks.
There are some "put the top down & drive" songs on here. Good production and sounds. Nature Song, Man With Long Hair (spy movie feel), and Slow Mind are my picks.
This is one of the better finds on Jamendo, even tho the tunes feel like they are not "fully developed". I would like to hear the tunes on this album build through out their length a little more, but this is just IMHO.
This is a great, toe tapping album that reminds me of Yanni and John Tesh in a way, and that is a good thing! The arrangements, production & choice of sounds are some of the best I have heard on Jamendo in the short time I have been here, it is very pleasant to listen to.
I will be keeping an eye out for more from this artist!
THE best album that I have grabbed from Jamendo yet! This is one of those mindless CD's that you put in, and before you know it most of the bull of the day just don't seem that important anymore....and this is meant in a great way!
We look forward to more from this artist....hopefully in the near future.
