As a listener I really wanna know how those the ranking system works. I think it's fair to know how the rankings work so I can make a few desicions as a user about what I listen to. Especially for musician, who are the heart and soul of Jamendo by sharing their talents with the community, they have the right to this ranking information. Lots of musicians here need to make choices that will affect their future as artist and their material with the information they receive in the Jamendo rankings. If they want to know how does the ranking system works, I think they have the right. I agree that the ranking system should be explained to the community!
Como un escucha me gustaría saber como funciona el sistema de "rankings". Creo que es justo para así poder uno tomar ciertas decisiones como usuario. En especial los músicos, que son quienes dan vida a Jamendo dando su talento para una comunidad tienen derecho a esta información. Muchos de ellos necesitan tomar decisiones que afectan su futuro como artistas y el de su material a base de las estadisticas que reciben en Jamendo. Si ellos quieren conocer como funciona el sistema para estar claros creo que tienen todo el derecho. Apoyo a que se le explique a la comunidad como funciona el sistema!
Si te gustan los temas de guitarras y Rock este disco es escencial. NO PUEDES DEJAR PASAR ESTE ALBUM. Me parece genial encontrar los mejores guitarristas que he seguido en Jamendo y otros que no habia podido escuchar hasta ahora. Uno de mis temas favoritos tiene que ser Pantera Negra "Children of time", Blond Blood y Lobogris tiene un tema genial tambien. En resumen, todos son geniales no encuentro como decir favoritos. Paco Santiago me encanto el tema de "Rumba Sudamericana" suena mucho como la música típica de PR. Me encanta este album!
If you like guitars and Rock this album it's a most. YOU CAN'T MISS THIS! It is awesome to find lots of my favorite guitarist and a few that I haven't heard of in one album. One of my favorite tracks has to be Pantera Negra's "Children of time", also loved Blond Blood & Lobogris track. In conclusion, all the tracks are pretty awesome, hard to choose a favorite. I wanna mention that Paco Santiago's "Rumba Sudamericana" reminded a lot of the native PR music. Love this record!
Me encata el disco, tiene fuerza, lado de crítica social, de todo un poco. El tema 'Sin Fronteras' debe ser una canción que llegue a los oídos del mundo, no solo porque es muy entretenida y los ritmos son muy buenos, pero el mensaje es necesario. En general, el disco es genial y la banda es muy buena (su otro disco es increible tambien). Altamente recomendado.
Powerful voice, some nice riffs in the songs. In general a nice album, the girl has a cool and pretty strong voice. The instruments are pretty good, they blend nice. Like the song "You said" the most because it has a nice riff and shows a bit of the Rock N' Roll power in the singers voice. Pretty good album.
Great track, enjoyable, this could easily play on any radio station. I agree it sounds a bit retro 80's Female Hard Rock (That might be why I love this track even more!!) Great voice, nice flow in the music and lyrics. Great work in general, hope I could listen to some more tracks in the future. Keep up the good work.
El disco es muy bueno tiene unos ritmos muy interesantes de Ska y en sus momentos tiene también la fueza del Punk en los mismos. Las letras son llamativas y las de crítica social son de unas temáticas muy universales, donde yo me puedo sentir identificado aun cuando no vivo en el mismo lugar. Los temas fluyen con una facilidad increible, me encantó que fue un disco completo,no unos pocos temas de "Demo" porque el disco es genial. Muy recomendado.
Found the album by accident, thats why I think this album is flying under the radar. Good solos, nice riffs, good vocals, nice enjoyable sound. Just going on the sound is a really nice enjoyable Indie Pop-rock album with this sort of retro feel to it. Another great virtue of this album is that the lyrics are pretty good too. Again, love the retro feel to it, don't really know what is it that gives it sort of a retro feel from 80's-90's Pop in some songs and even more retro maybe almost Hippie sound (and I mean that in a good way) on songs like "If You're Lost For Somewhere Else To Be". Enjoyable record, worth a listen.
This album was pretty good, has a bit of the hard-rock feel to it of the late 90's. Vocals are pretty solid especially in the first track, what you expect from a Hard-rock band. Instruments are good on both tracks, has shining moments with the guitar riffs and background vocals. Nice job, hopefully more tracks will be available on the future.
I wasn't planing on listening to this album, but by mistake I agreed with a review on your page. I am sorry for that, and sorry to the author of the review, since I don't really agreed with your review. Since then I decided to listen to the album, so that way I can leave a rightful review, so here I go. Not really into my alley in the music styling, the recording session is pretty good (clean sound). The vocals don't really rock me, sorry. The sound even when is similar to establish band is not bad, it shows they can compete in this style of music. In general, its a pretty good record if you are into bands like Coldplay or other melodic Pop/Rock bands. I believe they can compete in this music styling, might not make them legends on the style, but they surely can compete in this music style. Sorry again about the agreeing with the other review to the band and to the author of the review. On another note: Do you have anything to do with the band EVA, they have a song called "The Silence is Sexy", or is this just coincidence?
Great album, I can't stay put while listening to this record. I had to jump around, and after the first time I had to sing-a-long. Great work with this album. Love "Chica del Blues" (Increiblemente buena la canción), also "Bad Romance" = Awesome!! In general, great album, lots of Rock, Blues and Funk in the record. Highly recommended.
