These musicians are smart talented cookies.

The intros to the songs are the right length. The production is clean with the vocals crisp and clear.

The vocals are what Tom Waits would do if he could sing on key *wink* The only drawback to that great voice is a need for tighter ennunciation.

The musicians show great taste in both backing up the vocals and their instrumental parts.

If you like blues/rock this is an excellent way to spend 20 minutes.

I wish there was more.

I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this album.

Tidy all the 'way around.

Lyrics are strong. A songwriter smart enough to be succinct!

The vocals are like no other, gently gravelly with breezy background voice

"Northbound" is an especial favorite. It "speaks" to anyone who in a relationship who is nostalgic over simple, close moments.

Well worth the time to listen.

The production is clear and clean as are the vocal tracks.

If you're looking for fancy this isn't it.

If you like good coffeehouse folk artists with strong lyrics, this is the album for you.

I listened to all three albums [or parts thereof] and I must say, it's wonderful to see such hard work and improvement over the course of these albums:D

This album is as enjoyable as a real Italian pizza with double cheese.

The funked up versions of classic folk songs are well executed. The fiddler is in a category all his own. Absolutely top notch musicianship and production values.

The album has a live, energetic feel from beginning to end. Yet the musicianship all the way around is perfectly executed at full speed ahead.

"The Rising of the Moon" with non-Celtic phrasing is more fun than a crate of yo-yos.

I loved it all the way around!

I rarely get the opportunity to review due to time constraints in video making.

However, I really felt compelled to comment here.

This is clean, clear soprano, absolutely top notch vocals.

I'd really like to see more of this artist in the future with more instruments and possibly some harmony.

The recording itself is cleanly done and quality.

These three songs are well worth the listening time [TWICE!]

"Molten" and "rust" are extremely strong tracks.

I'd definitely check out any more from this artist.

I'm using "Rust" in a video after searching all day for a good piece.

Thanks, "No Really"--I will send you the addy when I'm finished!

Ahnee:

Clean, clear accoustic playing. I was impressed that there was no overextension [this seems to be a common failure] just a simple interesting album with precision accoustic work and vocals.

Pleasant listening all the way around.

And Bootstomper is a whole lotta fun!

I must have listened to 200 songs to get the theme for my community YouTube vids for TVParkdale

"Hard to Say" was the first one to jump right out at me with it's strong rhythms, universal appeal and underlying sense of whimsy.

Thank you so much.
