Restless hooked me in, love it. Nice work on this.
I like it in general but the preview stye of the songs is irritating and the trend lately against the language will limit its success. A friend of mine has run into the same problem. That having been said, I like the work that youve done and did star the album.
Very nice, I just downloaded all your albums. Try to get through them this weekend. Nice work.
Yes definately an aural journey. The ability to hear music looking fornew directions is what I am loving aboutJamendo as well. A lot is happening in these tracks. Love it!
I was attracted to the cover first, but as I listened through it grew on me. A little raw, but thats good and ya I hear a lil bit a Ozzie in there. Pretty interesting elements actually.
This is the music I like best. Nothing to analyze, just listen. Minimal tech house is great when I am working and its just playing in the background, next thig you know your heads bouncing, toes tapping and entering text on the keyboard in rythmn to the beat...lol. Good Stuff!
Very upbeat good feelings song. Nice mix of sounds and effects. The drumming is nice and the track has a little bit of everything as far as musical styles go so it should sit well with most listeners. All in all, a very enjoyable song.
Ok Jesse I take back the CB comment. That was made before I really listened and was premature.
This album is very well thought out and delivered. It starts out with a lot energy and somewhat frantic ith 'Bad Ass Tea' and then slows to what feels like a walk through a crowded city street with 'Under These Conditions'. Emotions abound in 'Death of a Pop Star' (nice piano and I loved the synth sound at the end). Hermit Crab is where I mistakenly got sidetracked on the Charly Brown thing but it is so much more than that. Its got almost physical depth and is a prerequisite for 'Funky Nothings', in my opinion, which takes the up and down flow to another level as well. 'Misgivings' piano work shines in a thoughtful ballady way that slows the whole thing down for a breath and a chance to relax, take a drink, lounge out for 'Disengaging Eye Contact' which builds up to the end and then takes you home with the atmospheric somewhat darker 'End of All Time' that cmpletes the journey.
The entire album works the senses, has good movement and is a good listen. The title couldnt be more acurrate. Nice work.
I really like this as well. Sometimes sounding chaotic but there is always something deeper, like a foundation holding it all together to retain its form. There is a lot of flow that moves through each piece to keep you on this journey too. Very nice work, I will have to check out some more.
Oh ya, and what is that creature your holding on your MySpace profile. LOL
Good sounds, excelent flow throughout the mix. A lot of movement from start of the tracks till the end keeping your interest tweaked. Nice work!
