This is complex sound-art. Instrumental tracks are mixed with lots of different sounds and noises. Instruments are partly played in an unusual way. It might sound strange at the beginning, but if you open your mind and take some time to listen, this can be very interesting. It has rhythm and very complex melodic elements. Tracks seem to be performed live.
Natlyea “Dystopian Origins II” provides you with synthetic atmo-tracks you would except in dark sci-fi or fantasy movies. This is less music in the common way as specific sound-craft.
I am rating this high, because it really works.
If you need dark atmo (for your movie or RPG-Session) this is it.
This album is a relaxed fun-mix from jazz, ska, swing, tango and rock elements. It’s rich in instruments, lyrics and ideas.
