Time - Single

Solid is the word that comes to me, simple and minimalist are the second and third. It could be more varied but it works. Keep up. Thanks for sharing.

You're doing the stuff almost right so congratulation for getting that far on your own, but now it's time to go to the next level, study that sacred book you won't regret it:

Don't take my message the wrong way, I really enjoyed your album and listened to it several times, I just think studying that book can help you create even better music. Don't take the book the wrong way too, it is "soft constraints" to help you build higher, but at the end you still follow your heart and take all the freedom you want. Good luck.

I've listened to that song in loop for the past hour and so while working. It sets the perfect mood for it, pulls you in a higher and positive state of consciousness.

Thanks for sharing.

Very amateurish but still touching, it has a "soul".

By what I hear I'd say you haven't studied that very old sacred book

If you're curious you might really like it.

Keep doing your stuff, thanks for sharing.

SHr0oMz - Sweet Lips in a Dream

I definitely like the style, I have some critics though.

It start really well and builds up nicely but

1) the arpeggio that comes at 1:52 is too repetitive, it breaks a bit the flow,

2) the arpeggio goes to minor chord (the last longer measure), and I really was anticipating a major one, got a bit disappointed, perhaps neither a minor or major one would have been best to let the listener decides,

3) the additional brief rhythmic click-clack sounds starting at 2:08 is too shuffled in my opinion.

Otherwise as I said I do like it and listened to it several times.

Hi,

I really like your style, the music is flowing well, it feels good.

Now for the critic, sometimes the melodies don't feel right. For instance in Floating Away the melodies, especially at the end, got really carried away (I guess the title isn't completely irrelevant!). In music theory we'd call that linear counterpoint, that is the melodies are moving linearly almost independently from each other hoping that the result will turn out OK.

I bet you haven't studied this incredible book yet

See it as a guidance, an open-minder, but always follow your emotion and intuition (even Bach, a fanatic of that theory, would default it once in a while).

Good continuation.

Good work, I got into it. I like that it's not overdone. Imma Firin' Mah Lazzer is a bit less interesting (and more "wannabe") as compared to the others but still enjoyable.

I'd swear that this album has been done using a soundtracker software (like Renoise or OpenMPT).

If you're curious look into Fux's counterpoint theory, it may help (especially the third song).

I like the spirit of that music.

However the piano something isn't completely right. I think the pianist needs to look into Fux's counterpoint theory, studying that book has helped me a lot and that's why I want to spread the message. Of course take the book as an open-minder, don't follow it to the letter, follow your heart ;-)
