I'm happy to discover this artist on Jamendo. What a great chillout album! I included the track "Blueprint" in episode 76 of my chillout podcast "Expand Your Musical Horizons" (http://wp.me/pKhbQ-dC).
Keep up the great work, Anitek!
I don't know how I missed this album earlier, but I'm glad I found it now. Sonic Mystery creates beautiful layers of sophisticated music. Very professional production and instruments, and a pleasure to the ears.
Definitely going to play a track in my podcast--can't wait for others outside of Jamendo to hear it.
Thanks! -- Cary
Shyam's unique style of chilled-out, soulful music is always a delight, and this track is no exception. "Heartfelt gibberish"? It just goes to show that music transcends language. Thanks, Shyam!
I was delighted to discover this album recently. The music is indeed fresh and sometimes unexpected, and it works!
I knew right away that it would fit into my chillout podcast, so I've included the track "Eastern World" in episode 55 of my podcast series, "Expand Your Musical Horizons." This track evoked in me a feeling like I get when I listen to the music of Nacho Sotomayor!
Here's a direct download to this episode, if you're interested. "Eastern World" is #4 out of 11.

Thanks, Antanas!

Nice work, nicely arranged, relaxing, but not boring!
I enjoyed Maze's Blue Heaven, too, so it's nice to see a new release from him here.
By the way, I included the track "Collaboration" in the latest episode of my chillout podcast, "Expand Your Musical Horizons," #51. It also features tracks from other Jamendo artists, like Screenatorium and Soundsache.
Here's a link to the episode direct: http://bit.ly/oYknP
You can also play it the page for "Expand Your Musical Horizons" in iTunes.
cheers
Cary
I was very impressed with the quality of this release. I included "Night Game" in my podcast episode #47, which begins with the trip hop ensemble "Under," and includes a lot of artists from different netlabels.
If you're interested, you can download the episode directly, here:

Thank you, Sonic Mystery, for sharing your music with us.
I loved this track...what a great groove. Expect to hear it in a podcast very soon....Cary (aka "attitune")
I enjoyed this album a lot. It reminds me for some reason of "Dead Can Dance" (and I really liked their music).
Also, I think it's great that SUR performs in their native language, even if some of us don't understand it. I don't think anyone here is complaining about it, I just want to encourage artists to perform in the language they prefer (this is not the eurovision song contest or something).
I included SUR's track "Zarja" in episode 37 of my chillout podcast, "Expand Your Musical Horizons." This episode includes quite a few Jamendo artists. You can listen to it or download it for free from iTunes, or directly from here:

Please write to me if the .m4a format is bad for you...I will create an MP3 version soon.
