nice drum beat and bass but guitar is very disgusting. maybe its better only guitar sound on reff section.
so its like a mix between alternative rock and gothic metal. its use a standard drum beat and walking bass melody. nice combination. I feel lot of something dark in this song. I wont listen to this song when I'm on bad mood.
honestly i open my jamendo account just to review vaermillia, not because i'm a big fan of it but just because my friend call me to make a review.
First song had a great bass and wah wah guitar sound. its like experimental rock with little funk taste. Second song is very awesome sad song, simple is the best sometime. like the piano at the end.
OK I've wrote a review because the musician SMS me to write a review on his new album.
Ok i see my friend already upgrade his instrumental skill. I like "forgive and forget" and "counting tears part2 (rat in the cage)" because its sad and deep ambient. other song is mostly like a uptempo and just a emotional song. maybe not matching with album title. but i like the slap bass in "grave of past". maybe he try to be like fieldy on korn :D
First song is good metal like music but not my taste. But I really like the second song "counting tears" its got the best point of vermillia piano and bass. Its a kind unique sad and dark music that I only can get from vermillia.
live recording give a really different thing from other vermillia music. Its remind me to a silent hill OST by akira yamaoka but also remind me to band named london after midnight because the lot of guitar. Its become not too unique like a vermillia early album. something missing...
very great indie music! unique but easy listening. like all instrument on the song. sound mixing is perfect and also melody. great live sound!
i don't know why vermillia become heavy listening electric music. its a more advance sound and rhythm but thats make music become hard to listen. unique but not good for everyone. next album you should think more about what is easy listening.
Its look like political music! Very powerful rock is matching with the music lyric content! Its a soundtrack of riot!! Nice!!
