Really nice album, goes great with driving. But I don't listen this album while working anymore, because then I miss all the great finessess it has.
I agree with the other review saying this is a "must have" album.
This is just what I've been looking for a long, long time. For me, this is just a chillout, that "has a balls" - I mean - full of energy...can't find the right words for it. I could write much more, but won't waste your time. One of the albums on Jamendo you just have to listen to!
My favourite tracks (best of the best) are "My money" and "Fuck you".
Thank you for publishing this one!
I don't find this album so playful as my favourite (C'est du lourd) and I also think that the track 'Philomene' was better on the album mentioned above. On the other hand this album is a little bit harder and it's still that kind of music I like.
The only problem I have with the 'David TMX' band's productions is that I have (unfortunately) absolutely no clue what they sing about, in this album they have (maybe) uncovered the secret for me in some of their tracks names (Cumshot, Le légionnaire zoophile) ;-)
Conclusion: If you heard any of David TMX previous albums, check this one! If you haven't, check it too;-)
I'm new to Jamendo and I'm very happy that this album was one of the first albums that I found here. Since I'm an ordinary guy from post-industrial city of Ostrava (Czech Rep.), it perfectly fits to the area where I spend most of my time. I can't imagine going to work (and then back home) without listening music and I must say that there's hardly something better than having a shot from my pipe (;-)), putting on my roller-blades and listening to Vate-Volk.
This album gives me an extra strength in the moments when I need it, either when sporting or working. Well, and now let's fulfill some of the "Tips for your review":
1, My favourite tracks are Apollo X (I like the voice very much), then Diablo and probably my favourite one is the Stravinski, because it helps me get on every single peak (on the skates;-)).
2, This album sounds like ... a great choice for everyone who needs to have some chill-out, but won't fall asleep.
3, Cover design of this album (and other albums from Vate) impressess me a lot. First time I came to jamendo I was wondering that many artists have also very nice covers, which is something I didn't expect.
4, How could this sound live? I can't imagine this unless Vate would come here and perform his (their?) art of sound.
