I finally got around to listening to this album. I regret I didn't do it before. This is by far the best I've heard in this genre released under Creative-Commons.
Only a true hip-hop artist would allow everybody to remix his shit. You are true, Cartel. Respect!
01 Dawn 3/5
Great metal track. The vocal track is great. I could have been without the "radio"-sounding vocal, but it's nothing that ruins the track like on track 4.
02 Don't Give 1/5
The vocal track didn't hit alot of clean tones. I'm a bit disappointed about the female vocal. It could have been a good track.
03 Puzzled 2/5
Cool instrumental.
04 Find Yourself 2/5
Female vocal is great and the guy doing some rap-metal is cool too, but then suddenly a guy comes in screaming like a drunk maniac. The growl was cool. It would have gotten 3/5 maby 4/5 without the drunk.
05 Loosing You 1/5
Starts off interesting with a piano intro. The canon of voices does not work very well, but the idea is good, with a little work it could be good.
06 Dawn (Live) 2/5
The recording is not the best.
This album needs serious mixing. The beats and the vocal is not mixed at all.
