The music itself is... absolutely jaw-dropping awesome.
But the sound quality is not quite all that. Sometimes the samples make some very abrupt stops, resulting in clicks. And that's just too bad.
Oh, and the bagpipes are... well, so cheesy that they're adorable :-)
Your song is awesome. Nice italrock and I like it.
But the sound quality is below average.
-The drum is too friggin loud; it is distorted and overblows the rest of the music.
-The voice could benefit of some more reverb, ie. "hall" in stead of "room".
-To much vibrato on the voice in the last half of the song
-The drum sequence tries to be too "special", resulting in machine gun sounds that don't contribute to the very fragile contents of the song.
Adapt the song to the tips mentioned above, and you'll get double the score. It's good, but it needs work.
Keep it up!
Damn, this is chilling... Extremely relaxing, especially towards the end when the sequencer kicks in.
Job well done! Please make a full album on this road.
Great sound, great sequences! Please PLEASE make more of this shit!
Warning: don't play this in your car - you WILL be speeding!!
It catches you. Intriguing mix of all kinds of musical streams. Very nice contrasts, it never gets boring. No tag will cover this load.
Yey! Italrock rocks! Nice to hear those sounds again...
"Siamo qui" is a nice slow...
Nice ambient techno. Though somewhat harshly mixed at points, a very good exploration of style.
The first track "Mood for December Rendered" doesn't fit the album though, it is more of a lounge thingy. So don't be fooled by the first track and just hear the rest too.
"DT NT Mp3" is a retroclassic track, that reminds of the days from the demo scene.
"Rework" feels ancient, it is techno from before it was called 'techno'. Lovely.
Very uncomplicated music - very nice to hear the old style of homecomputers again. Here and there.
Energetic, vibrant, playful... "Ridge Racer in bed" is a 180 degree turnaround and doesn't quite fit the rest of the album - but it is nice too. You can definitely feel the irony in it.
I love it. If your looking for melody, turn around and explore other albums.
But if your searching an atmosphere that grasps you and still holds you after the album is played, load this one into your listening weapon of choice, kick back, and let the magic unfold...
Some tracks have a certain "buildup" of resonance of the very deep tones though, so beware your "loudness settings".
Sometimes it is cosmic, sometimes it is french, sometimes bombastic, sometimes minimalistic... If you are to explore electronic ambient music - this package covers all streams.
I liked the middle part of "Die Legionen von Gwarks" best. Why not the start and the end? It sounds a little cheesy. But the core of this track holds some very nice sequences and is, to me at least, an intens piece of synthesizer work.
Overall - I just love it.
