A pretty good free jazz album with some very good moments. The worst thing I can say about this album is that sounds like it could have been recorded at any time in the last thirty years, but that's normal for this type of music. If you want, you can say that it makes it timeless!
There are a lot of instrumental post/math rock albums on Jamendo, and to be honest most of them are interchangeable. Not this one. This collection of jazz-inflected instrumental rock deserves a much bigger audience. An essential download.
Nice little collection of short, choppy noise pieces in a relatively original style. Maybe not an essential download but well worth a listen, and I'd like to hear more from G:E:R:T.
By the way, any rating system that auto-generates a summary of "not worth a listen" when you select six out of ten is broken.
