I am 22-years old producer from Warsaw. Music has been the closest domain of art to me for many years, however I am into producing for only a few years. My creative activity is mostly linked with such genres: trip hop, dubstep, downtempo, nu jazz, chillout, ambient, rock, sometimes hip hop.
My adventure with music started few years ago, my first favourite bands were Metallica and Queen. Like every young man fascinated with rock music I started playing the guitar (fortunately I still do this and often use sound of guitars in my productions) and tried to get to know more and more rock bands. After some time I discovered that there exist other music styles and that is how I started being interested in blues and jazz. For a long time I was pretty conservative about music that was created without usage of „live” instruments or was done using sampling. Fortunately I got rid of my prejudices and world of electronica, trip hop or nu jazz became my world.
The biggest inspiration for me is music of other artits – I try to listen to as much music as I can, without any limits. When it comes to rock then I must say that I love albums of such bands: Led Zeppelin, Guns N’Roses, Pink Floyd (especially first albums, until Wish You Were Here), King Crimson, Korn or Pantera. If I feel like listening to some chill music then immediately there appears songs by Jamiroquai in my player. Some dark, mysterious climate makes me be in the mood for nu jazz sounds like Nils Petter Molaver, Erik Truffaz or bands like Nuspirit Helsinki, Triosk, Wibutee, Medeski, Martin & Mood or polish Pink Freud. When it comes time for classic jazz then you cannot find any better than Miles Davis, John Coltrane or Herbie Hancock. All these artists and much more have an effect on me. They all influences me indirectly – indirectly, because I do not copy their musical solutions, but they inspire me to work and motivate me to develop my own musical ideas.
