This is a good album. The vocals are well done, the beats are well laid. The music is very good. Very dark and throbbing.
This album is just going in too many different directions. It is not industrial at all. It is like all the pop culture noise was loaded into a van and nuked. The pop monster that was left seems to have eaten itself.
If you are looking for experimental poppy trip-hop you may like this. Otherwise it is just happy noise going nowhere.
To start off, the album cover is awesome!
Love that piano on the first song, very haunting. The synth really takes it to the next level. Reminds me of Will.
Evil Mind had a great bass and drums. The vocals lake me back to Iron Maiden from the 80's. They are a bit drown out by the music. They are good vocals, there is no reason to hide them in the music.
Schattentanz is creepy. Love the base, and that lead guitar is very nice. Reminds me of 80's metal again.
At this point I think the sound of the album is a cross between 80's metal, Leather Strip and in the back ground, Will.
Living is musically my favorite, but the vocals at first are not great, then they go Skinny puppy and I am very happy.
I think though that Imported Gods is the best song on the album. It is a beautiful song with a great guitar. I do not normally like metal such drug out instrumental intros, but thus one is very very good. The vocals could be a touch louder, but they are very good.
Dying has the best drums on the album. They are awesome. The vocals are still too quiet though.
Morning Sun is like a really dark David Bowie track. Nicely done :)
Candy also has great drums, and a killer bass. I wold love to hear this one in a club. Best goth/techno track on the album. Also reminds me of Will, if remixed by the Chemical Brothers.
Very good album. Deied fans will not be disappointed. I give it a 9 because the vocals are too soft on most tracks.
This is a very good band. The lead guitarist sounds a lot like Slash to me. The drums are a very solid metal. The rhythm guitar is good. I could not make out the bass as well as I like, but that may be my speakers.
2 reason I gave this no more than 8 stars: 1. On a few of the songs the intro was too long. Being an industrial guy, that is normally cool with my, but metal like this must have vocals or it gets old fast, no matter how good it is (IMHO).
That leads me to issue 2. The vocals must be louder. The grunting is fine, that is the style, but I had a hard time making it out.
This band really rocks. I could see you going more mainstream rock with a solid singer. If you want to keep the death thing, that is cool. Just turn the vocals up!!!
Hats off to the guitarists. Great style and great sound. That is what pushed this album back up to 8 stars for me. Again, the drummer is solid too. I look forward to seeing what directions this project takes.
This album is very well done. It would make a great sound track, I can see the car chases and fight scenes now. This is a great band. If they got a vocalist they would be on of my favorites. The album cover made no sense to me. I thought the album should have been called silver tongue based on the image.
once in the closet is a great song, very well done. The rest of the album is also well done, the mixing on the whole thing is superb and beats are well laid. My only grip is that the first 4 songs sound too much the same. Add some vocals. This is great music, it needs some singing over it. A female voice or a male with a distorted voice. The album cover is well done as well.
This album is well named, it is perfect for falling asleep to. It is well mixed, but sounds too electronic It seems like the artist was confused as to the type of music they wanted to play. That said, it is not a bad album, which is why I gave it a 6. However, the newer albums are leaps and bounds better.
This album is very well mixed. The instruments are well played. This albums does not really need vocals, it is very jazzy, but I would prefer to hear some. If not vocals, samples would be nice. If you are looking for some instrumental poppy-jazzy sounds, look no further. It won't get much better than this.
This is a great sound track. The instruments are well played and everything falls in line perfectly. The music is begging for vocals. I would love to see this album re-released with vocals. I would give it a 9 or 10. Without them, it is just another instrumental album/movie sound track. It is well done though. Every song is well mixed.
