This is just unlistenable insane noise, without any sense or idea behind it.
Pros? It's very short - not much time is wasted.
Cons? Everything else.
Funny musical comment on ongoing copyright war. Not a track for repeated listening, though. Unless your neighbour is the president of RIAA. In such case put your speakers to the wall, turn the volume up and go walking the dog... ;->
Just a mediocre synthpop in live version. One track is great (3 I want you), with industrial feeling and interesting melody. But the others are weak. They are dominated by a disco beat, very unoriginal. Moreover, singers' voices are weak and uninteresting (especially male voice - female's is slightly better).
As for the live act - it was really a stupid idea to fade out the crowd's applause. Interactions with the public are essential feature of a concert recording - adding to the atmosphere of the event.
Abogix at his best... except for the track no. 2. The singer's voice isn't interesting, the melody is dull. Instrumental version (no. 8) is great, so it's the singer, who ruins everything. Experiment failed, Mr. Reznamor. ;-)
But it's the only flaw on otherwise perfect album. Other tunes are great - dark, psychedelic, creative, entertaining. Abogix is a master of such music and this album only confirms this.
That's only very good.
Excuse me for this harsh ;-) review, but after the first album I hoped for a masterpiece. And this track is... nice... professional... well arranged... but it does not have a power of a ten-ton hammer like its predecessors. It's too easy and smooth.
I hope it will be the worst on the next album.
Quite good actually. Better than the first album. But too chaotic. Let's take, for example, no. 3 Space Aviator - what have we here? Jazz improvisations, strange electronic sounds, samples of an aeroplane, rap, funk, flamenco guitar, vocalise, atonal piano solo, slogan-chanting and many more - and all of this in under 6 minutes. It's almost like listening to a recycle bin of an audio editing program. I felt pity for all those samples that couldn't make it... Poor bastards. Maybe if they were shorter, you could fit another 50 or so? Please excuse my sarcasm - I like genre-mixing, but it's not enough to throw 100 samples into editor and press "save" button... Maybe you've done hard conceptual work here, but if so - you've missed it. The result is chaos. But quite nice chaos. :-)
Brilliant electronica. Very simple melodies, without experimenting. But beauty of these tunes is just breathtaking. I have only one complaint - it's too short.
Great ethno-ambient. Would be perfect if not for the track 3 "Hamagito", which is an older work of KraftiM - based on annoying speeches and not a particularly good tune.
However, the rest is GREAT and I encourage you to check it out - of course only if you're a fan of intelligent atmospheric electronic music.
Oh, and one more thing. Is it Mr. Rat on a cover? He was a very cute rodent.
Interesting fusion electronica. However, too much of rap and distracting sampled speeches for me on "3 Les messagers" & "6 Tube H yeah". And "4 For nightclubers" is just a primitive dance/house tune - it differs negatively from the rest.
I can recommend only the following tracks:
1 Pornosax
2 La charogne
5 Killer il est
A masterpiece of ambient/downtempo electronica mixed with world music and rock. Absolutely essential for every fan of intelligent music.
