I didn't even know that I liked this musical genre before listening to this album.
Really good piece. It reminds me of Mike Oldfield's “Guitars”, somehow. Don't know if this is a compliment to you (or a compliment for you – ha, my syntax sounds off). :)
Ok the 10/10 mark I've just given is mainly because :
– I like this album and,
– I don't know on what basis to judge this album. I mean, sound is good, composition is strange but I like it, voices are not terrific but they're ok and they serve this style pretty well. How am I supposed to give a mark?
Well some pieces are a bit boring sometimes. Just not as good as the others. But overall if there are less interesting songs, the only thing you have to do is listen to this album while doing something else… and then just stop what you are doing when something in the album catches your ear. Hope you don't mind this approach to your music?
One more thing: I wanted to say that « I am a raft » is one of the better songs, but then there was « I am a pyramide scheme » (which surprised me) and then « I am a hotel ». Just too hard to pick one song over the other ones.
I'm downloading this for sure.

Well, it's not like there's really music, or like the sound is good, or like those little things are well writen. But at least that was fun sometimes. Towards the middle it gets boring (Jingle fart and some other stuff), but just before that I think I've heard a lobster, so it's ok.
I like the two pop songs.
But I had great expectations for the Ode to Art Garkunkel — too bad.
Vraiment un bon album. Je l'ai écouté trois ou quatre fois déjà, un peu distraitement. Dans l'ensemble, c'est une musique qui passe toute seule, et puis de temps en temps on tend l'oreille, et c'est vraiment bien.
J'aime assez le côté un peu rétro des compositions sur Casamojo (part 1, 2, 3).
Le son en général, du moins pour ce que j'y connais, est très bon.
Mouais… c'est vrai que comme le dit Ehma, musicalement c'est pas mal. Sauf que j'aime pas le son, trop égal d'un bout à l'autre d'une chanson. Et surtout, je bloque sur la voix.
Dingue le nombre d'albums sur Jamendo que je n'écoute pas juste à cause de la voix. Et en général ça n'a pas grand chose à voir avec le timbre de la voix, ni même avec la justesse (quoi que des fois…), mais surtout avec le style de chant.
Ah oui, même remarque sur les textes. Il y a un côté « il y a de la recherche mais on n'a pas trouvé »…
Euh voilà, désolé d'être un peu méchant, d'habitude j'essaie d'être plus encourageant :(
