"another one" fungiert als geniales intro... geile keys... sehr dark, sphärisch, ... - der charakteristische ghostfog sound eben. Auch qualitativ lassen sich sehr große fortschritte feststellen, was den sound an sich und auch die Melodienstruckturen und Vocals angeht.
("split me out" beginnt auch wieder mit einem düsteren synthie szenario und verwirrt ein wenig zum ende hin aber das kennt man ja schon.)
("HANGMAN´S WINTERDREAM" errinnert anfangs musikalisch stark an gothik-electro ála project pitchfork combiniert mit sehr schönen klavier melodien - traurig, melancholisch, enttäuscht... ein track der EXTRAKLASSE.)
("supervillian" - velvet acid christ)
(der Titeltrack: "the asylum theory" nach einem, meiner Ansicht nach, etwas zu langem intro wird man mit einen ebm/industrial artigem feuerwerk belohnt
"socus" schöner chilliger Dancetrack
"planet of hate" - aus der Tiefe, gesamplete vocals in harmonischer, minimalistisch-industrieller Ummantelung (giftige Praline)
"quiter" (JunoX2 ! - geil!) vor allen die drums - tanzbar und doch nicht "normal"
"ANOTHER ONE" - HAMMER!!! - das warten lohnt sich allemal, wie fast immer errinert musikalisch stark an goa/ebm im stile von Juno Reactor - sehr filigran designd - düster, düster düster.
Ghostfog´s sound überrascht immer wieder und besonders in diesem Werk ist eine große Entwicklung, in allen bereichen hörbar. Herrvorragendes arrangement, einheitliches szenario - sehr rund.

The song dedicated to manson is a great peace of work - exactly the same structure as a manson song. But the guitar part was BETTER than anyone I know from john5 - :-))!!!
Every song got it´s own characteristic perfection.

I like the music you present here.
A touch of "portishead", a bit of "massive attack" and un petit peu de "baxter", "lamb" & "morcheeba".
Nice composing. The atmosphere created is also very similar to the "artists" refered upon.
Keep on that wonderfull (art)work.
"Ad Patres" von A.n.K.h. errinert szenarisch ein wenig an die versuchte Kommunikation in einer Welt fern von Raum und Zeit, sphärisch, spacig, elektronisch & sehr präzise und psychedelisch arrangiert.

" Ad Patres " from A.n.K.h. sounds a litle bit of a soundtrack about the "tried communication in a world far from time and space", spherical, spacial, electronic sounds very nicely and psychedelically arranged.
