.belo!, your melodies aren't bad at all. I think they are a little lightweight and could use more depth, instruments or a few more layers perhaps in each song. I thought that "Gomita de Fruta" was especially nice as it had a little more substance and drama. "Transistors Drums" was very interesting and had a some depth to it.
You do have a nice ear for pleasantly upbeat songs. I liked the tempo that you applied to your music. And I think you made good use of your instruments. Overall, not bad at all. Keep producing new songs and working on improvement to add richness to your music. I hear a diamond in the rough in .belo!
This album is professional sounding and thoughtfully composed. The voices, music, melodies and all aspects of these songs are outstanding. This is beautiful Christian music, what I would call comfort tunes. I enjoyed these songs and felt uplifted.
Exotic, beautiful, enticing, enjoyable, relaxing, and did I say beautiful?.. What a special sound, this artist has... huge talent and the ability to compose some very unique, graceful and gorgeous music. This music is so irresistible.
I got hooked on Deus King tonight. So this is the second album of his I am reviewing. This one, "Unbreakable," his last on Jamendo, was released almost two years ago and I hope this artist hasn't given up on composing his music for us.
Those "Unbreakable" drums, the beat and the tune was outstanding. What a cool dance tune. "Feel it" was mellow with an unique mix of instruments. I thought "Game over" sounded like a video game at its intro but developed into quite a nice mellow song. "Native American" was a nice surprise with some unique twists and turns as it progressed. I've never heard anything quite like it. I adored the drums in "Come on Over." This artist loves his percussions and is quite effective with them.
Listen to "Tears of Sun" and note those powerful slams.
Deus King has a mellow bent and his music, ever unique, is compelling and at the same time has a calming nature. I found myself wanting to hear more of his interesting music. This album was too short for me.
Most of the music has a nice roll to it, a peacefulness, which is quite relaxing. The songs maintain their melody without jarring changes or an overabundance of layers or confusing turns and twists.
"The Cosmos Party" was a bit cosmic and spacey and sounds like a lot of those space songs made by others so it wasn't unique but it was good. I adored "Why" which was so upbeat and driven by such high notes that it felt like I was bounding about on the clouds. This song was dazzling and lovely. "Fear" had a big, bouncy drum sound to its intro which was strangely appealing. As the other layers moved in and the melody was incorporated into the mix this song became quite a rich production. I think "Fear" is my favorite song on this album. I really loved the drums at the tail end of "You Better Wake Up" but some of the other sounds on that track were just distracting.
Definitely an album worth listening to - and not just once. I'm very impressed with the music on this album and its diversity and that it was obviously well thought out and artistically composed.
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful voice, song and melody in "Forever Blue." Beautiful piano also. "Veloma" was so dramatic with its delicately dark piano and the murmuring vocals. "Far away from here" and "Lontana, . . ." were so minimalistic the beautiful melodies was almost imagined. Some of the songs seemed to have subsonic sounds which added to the unique ambiance of the pieces such as in "Viandanze" with its windstorms, sonar, and distant voices. Very eerie.
Overall an outstanding album. My favorite being that first song, that really stood out from the rest.
I love the ambient, sweetly soft music on this album. There was a slightly upbeat tone to these relaxing tunes. The acoustic guitar was really excellent and gave quite a romantic feel to the songs. These songs were all equally nice and are a lovely background sound for relaxing activities in one's day.
My only complaint is that many of the songs seemed cut off quite suddenly.
The album cover was cute and reflected the title quite nicely, but I was a little sad about the snowman. Oh well!
Very, very unique. This album is made up of unusual sounds, everyday sounds, the sounds of children, musical instruments, all quite astounding and real and sometimes quite loud so be ready to turn down the earphones.
I really loved the song "Memories of an arm I once had" which I believe was a complaint of a doll my sister once had many years ago. I also loved the "Firetruck Streetrace" which were going pretty fast for firetrucks! Another favorite was Guard of the Night-Light" which had a wonderful percussion focus on an unidentified instrument with a very attractive sound.
I just can't get over the diversity of the sounds and I can't identify most of them but they tickle my ears. All these songs seem to be about toys, perhaps from the toy's perspective. I loved this album and was highly entertained by it.
Dark, somber, expressive - and beautiful. I love "Moonlight Sonata" and this is done so nicely with the gorgeous piano and the smooth instrumentals framing the sonata. This is a piece that really stands out in excellence.
I love the acoustic guitar and the singer's voice is pretty good too. Nice mellow folk on this track.
