Wow. Quirky but fun. I really like this album. Professional production and weird compositions. I keep listening to it over and over. The last track is cute and different.
The old timey vinyl static overlay is nice but sometimes seems forced.
Nice groove jamming. I hear 1969-1979 Grateful Dead in there. Also a little bit of Hendrix and other bands from 68-74 or so. Love the guitar tone. The bass player is excellent and the drums are right on. "Is it Pink Yet" is a beautiful tune. "What Time is it" reminds me of Dark Star or Other One (the Dead). Those two are my favorite tracks and are somewhat similar. I love the way the intensity ebbs and flows and builds. I've only listened to 5 or 6 albums on Jamenco but so far this one is a keeper and the others aren't. :)
