Great electronica, the pattern you introduce in the first track and bring back in some others, is similar to one I experimented with in my early years, simple but effective. Great album for any electronica connoisseurs collection.
I'm liking what I hear so far, definitely liking the stabbing pulse bassline. Some andvanced concepts in your synthing, which is always good. yeah, I'll have to download this and give it a better listen, nice stuff!
Jarre'sque, almost too much so. Good stuff nonetheless, If I were to listen to some ambient music, this would be it.
Great stuff overall, I love your constant experimentation, it makes everything work on a whole other level above anything else of the genre.
The synthesised stuff sounds good, a real generic trance sound, but whats it doing in a DnB song? It's all kinda disjointed, no cohesiveness, things just seem to happen at random intervals.
Track two sounds like it'd do great as a porn soundtrack, {wicky wicky wow}. Pretty funky. but again, its another piece of music that has nothing to do with the album as a whole. The CD should be called "three completely different songs"
I have to say though, track three was ok. That's the reason i gave it a four and not a two. Generic yet again, but still pretty ok.
Pretty standard use of stock fl-studio drumloops, especially in track two. Maybe you should try sequencing more of your own? or doing something a bit more interesting with the samples.
You need to spend a whole lot more time messing with fl!
The lyrics are pretty, well, standard again. semi-interesting singing, nothing special.
Hearing all the stock fl samples littered throughout each song just makes me cringe.
Practice more!
Keep Them nice and long like this in the future, it turned out very good. Definitely your best album. Recommended for any real electronica enthusiast/appreciator. I love "Project wildfire", it's one of the best examples of thematic composing, something you excel at. I heard a little bit of daft punk in this, even some industrial and trance and acid. Lyrics are again good. Great album overall, and an awesome concept to go with it as well, make sure you hit "more" next to description!
Now that I have all your torrents, and all on one cd, I'm listening to them and getting so jealous of your set-up, your synths and stuff, nice work, :D
Bend - Fantastic stuff, love the lyrics, and the vocals, and the vocoded vocals, A great song, and you're always teasing for the next part of the song where it does it at its full, which is nice. It makes me smile and nod my head spontaneously so often listening to your music, and especially this one!
Destroy the poppolution - Acidacidacidacidacid! So theres some Roland action going on in there? pretty phat yo, really thick bass, heavy high acid synth, just the way i like it bro, you read my mind, thats the song i needed to hear after the first one. :D
Markell Filson - To be honest, I think, If you can make stuff that sounds like this, with this kind of precision and refinement, do every song like it!
Robot Wars - This is the reason I'm giving this album a 9 and not a 10, and the only reason. That reason being that this song reminds me that I should be listening to Robot Wars. It's like you realised that you could do it in that amount of refinement after the previous song.
If you make more stuff consisting entirely of this quality material, I will come back and change this to a ten one day, :D.
I wish there wasnt so much distance between us, otherwise I'd come round there and have a jam with you, lol.
Fantastic. I havn't heard anything this genre-shocking in a while. Fantastic stuff. To be honest, I've only heard the first song so far, but I just got some new speakers, and I'm pumping it, and it's rocking, hard. Second track now, interesting, Like the vocals, and the splitting styles employed. I love all the synths you're using, I'm reminded of some of infected mushroom's trance side. I'm hearing ts404's and 3byOSC'es, but I'm probably imagining it, its analogue, right? theres something digital about it though, hmm, It's got me thinking in any case, I should have it scoped out after a few more listens, I'm getting the torrent in any case.
10 out of 10. immaculate.
