Rather humdrum delivery. Needs melody, but not in a big way. The strings zing, but suggest getting out of the speed notion and sing a song with those fingers.
When I joined this forum, this was the very first album presented to me. It is still the one that suits my nature as the best.
The virtuosity is sensational. The melodies remind me of what I might hear in the Appalachian Mountains. What beautiful lilts and melodies.
I'm having trouble hearing music better than GOBODOBO. When I learn his true name, I will mention his name at every Canadian Folk Fest and then travel to see him.
