I really like the instruments but the vocals detract from the compositions. Truly, the instruments and playing is really really good. The "Mary Poppins" song shows that and the others totally back that up. The vocals sound too "indy" and need more confidence, and less 'emotion'/'quavering'. I commend the artists because you really are great musicians. If you make a CD with no vocals, I'll be the first to get it!
Talking Cure makes a fantastic album with a lot of variety. The variation between songs really makes it enjoyable to listen to all the way through. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants some easy listening, creative electronic funk music that has a lot of variety. The sound and mixing is quality and that certainly contributes to its enjoyability.
