Mixing is a process in which all things bleed together. Unless you mean them to mesh in chaos together. It doesn't sound as if you wanted these things to sound blended. It sounds as if the album was thrown together by a midi robot that highly favors electronic keyboards over organic instruments. Nice. Good effort but this lacks like it hurts.
Your band sounds tight and smooth. This is that Spyro Gyro sound that is so nice to listen to. Yet you have wonderful piano melodies that they do not. I enjoyed this album because of it's easy ability to listen to. The production values were great as well. Professional and sonically pleasing. You are wonderful musicians. Good Work.
The albums frequent use of that "scatter" sound you hear toward the beginning of the record is frustrating and maddening. There are some wonderful sounds on this recording but for the most part it sounds like a scary and annoying horror film. But still it is an awesome effort and the production values are great and I cannot claim to be any better than anyone so...good work.
While I think I prefer your last album a little more, this album is awesome as well. I love the titles you chose for the tracks. "About Me" is so beautiful. It paints a nice little photo for us to perceive what you are like. Sydney Poma has wonderful talent and if you are reading this, DOWNLOAD both her albums as you will not regret it. If you are a film maker, use her songs to put emotion into the movie. I love you, Sydney!
This lady has the true talent that we need to see on Jamendo. Not to mention she is very beautiful as well. This album captures so many different emotions and also shows just how accomplished she really is as a composer and arranger. Really an awesome listen.
This album is kind of what I expected. It is good don't get me wrong. It's funny how highly you speak of the album in the description. As if it is the best of it's kind. This album to me sounds like Evanesence mixed with Staind. There is some nice guitar work on the record but to me it just seems like somebody took those little METAL licks and put them into your hand without real knowledge of anything. Neil Young wasn't the greatest guitar player yet his music stood out because of his emotion and passion. I feel like the industry giants already have a hold of you guys because your formula meets their standards. If you want a hard rock record on INTERSCOPE or VIRGIN then maybe you should send this to them. But is that what you want? I know I don't. That's all. Not trying to come off as wise or mean just giving my opinion.
You have many Phillip Glass like changes in the record. I do like it. It's very meditative. The electronica upbeat tracks were my favorite. Good work.
Very nicely done. You've incorporated many cool sounding melodies with hard pounding rock. It makes for an interesting and different album. Good job.
You are an amazing artist. Such enchanting melodies. This is the greatness of this site. I would definitely buy one of your albums. So pleasant and soothing. Great work.
You do some really neat things with the music. The first track reminds me of something out of Monkey Island (the video game). Even though there are a lot of tracks, they are all short and to the point. I think it could definitely be used in films and other mediums. Is it all computer generated? I think I would have loved to hear the instruments more organic sounding. Good work.
