Olvídate

Simple, profound, perfect. These are professional-standard musicians.

What a wonderful discovery! Witty songs, singalong tunes and an atmosphere which makes you want to laugh and dance.

Thank you, Cal Tres for this gift of fun and music.

My favourite track? All of them!

Serenade-Wonder - Secondhand Serenade

It's a great shame that there are only 2 tracks available, and that there isn't any information about the artists. Individually they have excellent voices; their harmonies are perfect. The lyrics are emotional without being twee nor cloying - there is a feeling that these people are siging about their own lives. The guitar playing is restrained, effective.

It would be a real pleasure to hear more from Serenade-Wonder.

One review must do for all 3 albums from Bosques de mi Mente. There is a sound here, a feeling; there is also space and emotion. The work reminds me of Brian Eno and Philip Glass - half-heard snippets of suggested music which build into a gloriuos whole.

Well worth listening to and downloading!

Robin Grey - I Love Leonard Cohen

Robin Grey

I Love Leonard Cohen

These songs compare favourably with any put out by the great English folk singers - Bert Jansch, Nick Drake, Robyn Hitchcock and Davey Graham.

"I Love Leonard Cohen" and "The Winter Blues" are stand-outs.

A definite must-listen artist.

Reminds me of Stephane Grapelli, Django Reinhardt - all the greats. Exceptional talent.

This is an album that lovers of the English singer-songwriting have been waiting for. Robin Grey joins the long line of artists spanning from Bert Jansch to Richard Thompson who become part of the fabric of traadition.

His lyrics are simple but profound, his tunes are catchy but technically brilliant. His voice will remind you of - well, Nick Drake? Ralph McTell?

Try "The Last Time I Saw David" for a wry, bitter take on religion. Listen to "The Finchley Waltz" for a perfectly-observed slice of life.

I have not seen Robin Grey live, but there is an intimacy about this recording that makes me think that he would give a concert to remember.

Download this album - you will not regret it!

"Ton Amour" is definitely the killer track - reminds me of an Eels song - Elievana could/should be a commercial success!
