Very shortly put: great garage rock, guys! :D
I already missed the raw garage rock of the old days. And you guys seem to succeed to produce it quite well.
The vocals are usually raw, but the slightly smoother vocals on "Nuvole Viola" feel somehow high-schoolish, which to me doesn't fit too well with the other two tracks on the EP.
I really appreciate the bass and the occasional more funky elements at times. These are great! :D
The drums sometimes feel a bit too loud, but maybe that's just me.
All in all, I'm very happy that I stumbled upon this EP and band and dearly hope to hear more from them. I imagine they rock even harder playing live!
P.S. I don't get the naming of the tracks.

You can read another review from me about your album on: http://matija.suklje.name/?q=node/126
(which is part of my Great Jamendo Experiment series: http://matija.suklje.name/?q=taxonomy/term/167 )
I find the style as a mellow mix of post punk with electronic elements, which takes me through the whole history of the post punk genre, without going too much into the noise rock section, which is quite something.
The songs themselves have at certain moments (e.g. in the track Troubles and the Low Profile remix of Scars) more trashy or even industrial touches, while other tracks (e.g. Scars) include some riffs that remind of surf rock and UK underground.
The vocals are mediocre, but all in all I really really liked the EP and it seems like perfect music to walk around at night to. Mellow, yet powerful at times.
The EP sounds great as it is (good speakers/headphones are a must!), but I have a feeling you guys have it in you to evolve into an even better band. Can't wait for more releases from you guys! Do you do any gigs in central Europe? ;)
Edit: after listening to the album again on my media player with a decent set of headphones, I had to raise the score ;) Also, you guys remind me somehow about We Followed Tigers.

Two bad only two tracks are released on Jamendo, but by judging those two I can say that I could potentially fall in love with this band.
"Come and Go" has a very nice vibe to it and I just adore the brass on it! :D
"Otherside of the World" is not a bad track either, but because the first track is so lively, it makes this one look a bit plain.
I'd give it more if I had more material to judge from.
Hope to hear more from Two Spot Gobi soon! :]
Wow!
I found your album by chance and thought "Well, let's give it a go..." and here I am, already downloading the high-quality version and loving it!
To me it's a very nice melange of electronica, breakbeat, some IDM and a pinch of industrial as well.
I haven't listened to it enough to pinpoint specific tracks or elements to praise or critique, but so far I can safely say: "Very enjoyable!"
I'd *love* to see hear more of your work!
Great album! I completely fell in love with "Fucking ABBA" and many of the FF* tracks!
Keep up the great work!
P.S. Penguins rock! :D
This album surprised me A LOT!!! And I mean in the most positive way imaginable! :D
I think it's a very nice mellow, yet positivistic, mix of many rock subgenres (from pop punk to alternative rock with elements of mild math or noise rock.).
For some reason "Maryland" reminds me a lot about Dinosaur Jr., while "Whatever" reminds me of a more pop-ish Joan of Arc. Overall the album I'm as awestruck and get pretty much the same feeling as I do listening We Followed Tigers or the two above mentioned bands.
As far as I'm concerned, I think Morning Boy can compete with the "big guys" from the commercial labels any day, any time! I can barely wait for more!! XD
P.S. Is there some female vocals I hear in some tracks? If so, mind sharing who the singer is?
