Listening to the album atm...and so far...really cool music!
Like the deap lyrics and slow guitar chords...unique sound, don't even know who to compare you to!
Also, love the description "ironic alternative rock"...the ironic part made me listen to your music ;)
I quite liked some of your guitar solos, and some of the chords sound ok. Some of the musical themes that you use are original and sound good...but everything in between is not good enough.
The vocals are both boring, and in my opinion not very well sung. The singer bends his voice so much that it breaks...in all the wrong places. Keep the vocal more clean and straight forward to listen to.
The sound could take some work too...occasionally you have some piano which isn't loud enough - turn that up. The guitars are too distorted for my liking - seen as this isn't death metal, add some more harmony to your guitars - the lead guitarist sounds quite skilled so use his guitar to compliment the song, and make the sound more harmonious.
Find another way to record the drums - I cant really hear the base drum, and the cymbals are WAY too loud.
