A truly Divine composition. Listening to the keys work in harmony like this.. Lost for words, man.
What a composer - an excellent piano player, producer and musician in general. More then any music on Jamendo (except perhaps Mr Subirana) D.CEMBRE manages to wake deep feelings within you. Familiar, new and happy ones (personally at least). What a treasure this album is. Highly recommended.
Early, it's clear I'm listening to a great composer. With a few more tracks this could be the soundtrack to any great movie or game (I detect some FF-influences). The score is as captivating as it is balanced and more importantly; there's a melody to follow and it takes you on for a great ride!
All I miss are more tracks for me to call this an album - but what's there is pure magic.
Cielle presents a daring experiment with vocals combined with beats influenced from a wide range of genres. Something new, something borrowed and certainly a beautiful wedding.
This walkman just became greater. With a dearing leap into new tunes, new feelings, Shardik takes on on yet another journey. One can be nothing less then impressed, dazzled by the depth of these notes.
It just builds up the deeper you get into the song and leaves me touched. Great stuff, simply put =)
After the first thirty seconds I was certain I had a solid rock album, and it is! But a few tracks in we get everything from cool mixing/samples to honest feelgood tunes. A little bit of everything simply.
My only problem is really the kick-ass start with twice as high BPM then the rest of the album.
But hey, that said this is VERY likable and produced by (in my ears) a couple of pro's. These guys certainly got something to offer!
And here I thought modern rock that remembers our heritage was dead - what a fool I feel like after having listened to PeerGynt's "BlueMoon".
But that's just the beginning. As we travell on along these tones there's (as the unbeatable cover art suggests) a story being told, with influences from various directions; the Saga lives with BlueMoon. Cheers
a new discovery in Shardik's Walkman, this time taking us to...Africa of the Future? Beautiful synth tones mixed with facinating choirs.
Not to forget: (as always) excellent mix and quality.
...with Azoora, as always. There's a "feelgood" essence to these tracks, while the arrangement is as solid as the song is crystal clear.
One can only aspire to reach the quality, uniqueness (I'm sure that's a word) and honest nature of Azoora. Cheers, mate
This is officially my new favorite artist. Is there a band or just production? If not, there should be. Can't think of any singer who wouldn't love to write/sing to this!
