Excellent quality in every department. Hard to imagine they make a sound this rich and full just 3 guys but I guess that modern electronices.
I especially like #3, Maria de Fe (?).
I'm writing a blog post about it right now....
I've noticed over the last few years that the quality of Mexican/Latin rock has gotten very good. This album is an example.
It touches elements of more than just salsa. I evaluate songs/music from the vantagepoint of 'is it salsa' and 'is it dancable'? This album meets both of those criteria very well. Sure, it's not all salsa style but I'm able to appreciate any music as long as it's dancable.
I've also have been impressed with the quality of music coming out of Mexico these recent years. Maybe it's been there longer than I'm aware, but.....I'm just recently recognizing it.
Very good album!
It's an album? I just heard one song.
Anyway, I like it. It's got an ear-friendly beat and it's creative in the way it was done...i.e. the voice overdubs.
