i especially enjoyed "granny has come". it sort of gives a mental image of an erie older lady coming to give a scared-ish young child their unwanted piano lessons :)
made in '03 this may be... but it's still sounding so fine in 2009. really hot tracks here... very nice work. i wish i could have heard this in 2003, i would've spooged a little in my pants :)
to me, the collection of work on this album is sort of like a somber shade of radiance... perfect music to listen to when you're laying in bed with a tired body but a lucid mental state... i love it. excellent for drifting off into that surreal dreamy enclave when body relaxes, even to a slumber & mind is sort of projecting the most fascinating ideas & visual effects tranceterically upon the inside of your eyelids as if they were movies screens at an ultimate theater... these songs take me there, but also for whatever reason i imagine a couple of the tracks would be fantastic music for a picnic on a lovely spring day, just chilling with your favorite lover or best, best friend on a blanket under the blue sky... thinking music, drifting music, dreamy music... I especially enjoy "sparkle in the sky" & "newborn". thank you Spisfire, for sharing your sounds & rhythms
it's a perfect exersice in absurdity... you have put together a stellar sound with these tracks. perfect combo of the real trancey samples with the hard noise & fairly hardcore beats... what i like most is the way it's fairly psychotic yet completely fun while maintaining great technical skills. I love it... you're fabulous Ptit... mwah
