Awesome sound inside said cover!
I may have to download this, as it brings back memories of Tony McAlpine, Joe Satriani, Vinnie Moore, et. al.
Great recording--even with my crappy headphones I can hear each instrument in proper relation to each other. Those clean leads and feedback fades are signature. The punchy crunchy dynamics are also reminiscent of my youth and those I looked up to. Thank you for this. I mainly listen to mellow stuff these days, but my lane of memories was not always mellow.
Peace,

Refreshing to hear such well recorded songs with what sound like real instruments--strings, percussion, bass, and of course the acoustic guitar. Reminds me of my friend's Ovation acoustic electric a bit.
Track #2 is endearing if only for what sounds like a needle descending delicately on spinning vinyl.
I love your music. Great voice. Great arrangements. Great job!
Peace to you,
--J
This is good stuff--especially the mellow solo guitar/vocal tracks. I respectfully disagree with Missancha about your voice in Track # 3 -- "She Dreams in Blue". I really found it compelling and engaging. I'll go so far as to say it was my favorite track of all. Going to playlist it. It was the most original guitar and singing on the album, and I've listened to it twice now.
I haven't heard your other album(s), but it sounds like (from other reviews) that this is a change of pace for you. I'm very curious what else you've been up to. I relish solo guitarists that can also sing (I can't sing to save my life). Please do more like Track 3! :)
Very good work.
Peace to you,
--Jeff
Very diverse melodies and electronic voices to carry them. Very visual music. Very tactile music. The sounds are very unique and carry with them several dimensions. Beauty also embroiders this delicate lace fabric of sound with colorful and fanciful shapes of sonic delight. Gorgeous.
Peace to you,
--Jeff
First of all, very original and interesting music. Track #4 sounded like period instruments reminiscent of the Renaissance.
The overall mood of the album is enigmatic and that leaves space for listeners and their own personal and unique experiences in relation to the album.
Track #5 evolves into a waltz with a post-modern time signature that could make a physician blush.
Good work. I'll listen to the rest when I next have a chance.

Thank you for another wonderful Commons offering of your ideas and the talents you've honed to express them. Port Angeles is a beautiful setting. I can hear it in your music.
I especially like these songs because the guitar is featured, I can hear a little Damien Rice resonations in your voice, some subtle brush-stick percussions, and a diverse mix of finger picked melodies and wistfully strummed chords.
Vocal harmonies are always a delight when done with taste and tact.
I'll keep listening.

On top of that, I was pleasantly surprised that after track one, the ambient explorations were given temporal freedom to meander the melodic moodscapes without the heavy weighted metered dance beats to constrain and anchor them down.
I also found some of the horns in track 6 "Random gods revisited" reminiscent of Vangelis. Hope you don't mind the comparison, as I find your work very original and interesting on its own.
Peace,
-- J
Another wonderful mood setting album. More guitar arrangements please!!
Beautiful.

Perfect vocals, percussion, guitar, keys, et al.
Downloading, starring, and recommending.
Thank you for your musical offerings.

Very beautiful instrumental arrangements of complimentary timbres. I enjoyed the flow of the theme, the sparkling melodies atop the moody leads, the shadowy bass and somewhat plastic, but listenable percussion. The surprising turns toward electronic abstractions seem to work well on this, where otherwise it might leave one with whiplash.
I prefer the more mellow ambient pieces, but I can appreciate what you were doing based on the song titles and the theme they unfold upon us.
Peace.
