InterZein - Little Bad Robot

Subiektywnie odebrałem ten album bardzo dobrze. Prawdziwa, nawiązująca do klasyki gatunku, elektronika. Czuć siłę syntezatorów, magię układów scalonych i elektrobrzmienia.
Ciekawe linie melodyczne, zachowana dynamika rytmu, dobre zestawienia instrumentów... to wszystko na plus.

Może troszeczkę brak emocjonalnego potencjału - pewnej artystycznej dysharmonii. Choć w pierwszym utworze [Intro] jest to widoczne, to potem gdzieś ginie zastąpione "matematycznymi" kompozycjami. Nie mówię, że to źle. Właściwie dobrze, ponieważ tematyka płyty ściśle nawiązuje do świata elektroniki, gdzie wszystko jest dokładne, równe, wyliczone...

Tak czy inaczej jest to bardzo dobry album. Na prawdę godny polecenia, a dla fanów gatunku pozycja wręcz obowiązkowa.

Cool start with Interzein Intro, sets the pace. Little Bad Robot is a gorgeous piece of electronic creativity, nicely done. Again, the quality of this musical expression is continued with, curiously enough Anomaly. It isn't. It is a persistent and real skill we hear in action. The tone changes introspectively with I Looking My Identity, reminds me of some lyrics I have just written. Tried singing them but I'm stuck with this interminable iambic rhythm and don't have the best or most adaptable voice in the world. Very nice track, that encourages self-reflection. It has that sense of poignancy.

Physical Form has a Kraftwerk feel to it, which is not a bad thing at all. It makes for a very good listen and goes with the flow, even though the album is about a little bad robot and it might seem out of place, it does have its relevance as becomes evident in the lyrics. Motherboard takes its position in the running order, and I have seen many, even fixed them when components could still be changed and before everything became surface-mounted and modular. Now they are ten-a-penny, but there's only one true 'mother'. That was back in the 80s, and this reminds me of sounds I created back then using an A500 with a 'massive' 500MB HDD. How times have changed. I can recall the sounds that take me back and the limitations that now seem so trite to some, but so loveable to those with the memories. Good years, almost golden.

Osscillator Feelings are almost fossil like. Again, it takes me back to technical days of repair work and watching sine waves, now I am still listening to them and loving it. Great stuff. Virus, again inculcates memories for me, as we used to manage fleets of portables that had to be able to hook up into mainframe systems. Slaves to the rhythm and threat of infestation. How life stays the same, be it real or virtual! 8-Bit World is a lovely positive piece of music, again bringing to mind technological history. The final exquisite Anomaly (IDM or Something), end this album on a brilliant note.

Przyjemna, melodyjna, przemyślana i bardzo dobrze brzmiąca muzyka. Można w niej utonąć i zapomnieć na chwilę o otaczającym nas świecie...
