Beautiful and interesting disc. Not truly progressive, in the sense of "Yes" or "King Crimson"... more like a psych folk-rock affair with an arty attitude. Beautiful instrumental work, specially the flute. Some passages reminds me of "Pinturas y Expresiones" by "Agnus", an Argentinian folk prog group or some good old italian groups from the 70's, but... then the voice...

I think the voice doesn't really fit into the music, maybe its more akin to groups like evanescence or the such... very "pop"/"conventional" most of the time, soul at other times, it even ruins some otherwise splendid passages... It has its moments like at the beginning of gloomy just before turning again into "pop" territory and conventional melodies. Fortunately the instrumental work is very well constructed, and more than makes up for it, 'though, alternating between soft and hard passages with ease and great instrumental domain. The music has very interesting turning points, and the guitarist should be specially proud of his/her work in this issue.

Drums and voice are maybe too high in the mix for me (drums specially are too "heavy" played AND mixed, a softer approach would work better with this material in my honest opinion), but apart for that, the mixing and recording work is pretty good.

Congratulations, I will listen to your other works.
