What can I say? A lot, propably. It's only been a week since the gig and here I am writing a description of our first live album. At the time I wasn't aware that we were being recorded, and that's a good thing. I was extremely nervous on the stage, so I didn't need any more pressure.
---
The recording was done by Mikas wife, Nina witha small Zoom H4 recorder with built in microphones. A lot can be said about bootlegging. It's a superior way of capturing the vibe of the event that any other method. I love the rawness and the sweaty atmosphere of the album, and the mistakes we made in our playing doesn't seem to matter.

At rehearsals we clocked the setlist and it was about 55 minutes long with out any bigger pauses between songs. The whole gig with the pointless banter and dead air was roughly 50 minutes long. We plowed through the songs pretty fast, but that's what adrenaline does to you.
---
The edited recording of the gig ended up being 35 minutes long. That's mostly because we had to cut out the first and last track. We can't publish them through Jamendo as they are cover songs. We started with an interpretation of King Crimson's Sailor's Tale and finished with Rush's Xanadu. The rest was me talking between songs.
---
After editing, Mika got down to business and EQ'ed it and added some reverb and practised some woodoo in Pro Tools. Finally he mastered the music with a Nakamichi BX-125E tape deck. Voilà!
---
Most of the tracks are new ones that will be published on our next studio album, NOW. It will be quite different from our previous ones. But that's what we are all about: Change.

A big Thank You goes to the audience and the staff at Telakka in Tampere, Finland for making us feel welcome, to friends and family for support and to the band Punaisen kuningattaren periaate for asking us to open for them!
