I like Buxtehude, one of my favourites and not a bad reworking, though not sure about the quality technically. Urban Dreamscapes, quite a nice ambient soundscape. Straightforward and down-to-earth, with some reasonable progression. Kilkë manage to pull off a good track, but then I would expect something good of someone who listens to Buxtehude. Desert Sun beats down on the back of your neck as you trudge around in circles, prone to the odd mirage and/or oasis. Sparse and effective, with the odd wailing from a distant minaret. Takewo Tulike is very enjoyable, nice start and then it changes into a sort of cyberpunk affair. Nice little construction of creativity. Interesting mix. Then, we are presented with the liquified synthetic and organ mixture of Winter Sky, that takes on a J-M Jarre structure and couples it with an oriental string layer. Actually a very nice formation. Something of Kitaro in there too, I think. Nicely done.

For some reason, seeing this in the list makes me think of Kraftwerk and I am expecting something like Tour de France. There is a cleverly achieved sense of locomotion encapsulated with the simple percussion and then layered like a creamy gateau, with real fruit. A dessert fit for the Orient Express, with your café au lait, trundling along peacefully and luxuriously. I listened to Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons' a couple of days ago, strangely enough. This is a good take on, what is a pretty dynamic array of musical expression. I like it. Nicely done again. 8, does not get off to a great start, but makes up for it by building enough diversity to lessen the 'boom boom' effect. It recovers well enough, to make a reasonable electronic track that is quite enervating, though I still have Vivaldi in my head. Gomi no Sensei, is almost industrial. Not at all what I was expecting, though there sounds like there is a traditional core to it, like an adapted folk song. I'm guessing wildly, however, I find it likeable indeed. Finally, we have some Haydn being reinterpreted. Not one I'm familiar with, but all the same I like it. It seems well balanced and produced. Overall, a very good, and finely entertaining album.
