This EP was made with the help of my father turning up his TV in the other room while I was recording (I llived with him during the time these songs were recorded), Rorie Kelly's other-worldy voice, her willingness to get drunk with me and let me sleep on her livingroom floor (now she sleeps in my bed, because she's my--gasp!--girlfriend), and of course: alcohol.
Sometimes, people say I sound like Jeff Buckley. Other times, they say I look like Antonio Banderas. Other times still, they don't say anything at all--and it's those times I pay most attention because I'm really hard on myself.
My heroes are my closest friends because they're the ones who have to put up with me--and that, people, is the most commendable act of courage this world has ever known.
I'm currently in the beginning stages of recording a full-length album: first, I want to get a band; next, I want us to practice; then, we can record.
Anyway, enjoy these songs; they're all under a Creative Commons Atrribution-NonCommerical License, so do whatever you want with them--so long as you give me credit and don't charge any money for whatever it is you do (share, copy, give to friends and family, sample, etc.).
Cool acoustic songs, simple with great emotion continue ! I really love...
This album is small, but worth every second you listen to it. Very eomotional and reminds me of similar artists like Damien Rice, and Bright Eyes.
Les interprétations sont sans exagérations et pourtant il y a une puissance, un charme saisissant. Certes le micro-chevalet de la guitare bof bof mais il s'efface devant le subtil mélange des voix et la qualité de composition.
