Beneath a prairie moon was a fulfillment of a dream. Since the early 80’s I have been deeply influenced by the music of Phil Keaggy, William Ackerman,Shawdowfax, Lanz & Speer, Richard Souther as well as countless others. In my heart I harbored a dream to one day record music that emulated the sounds of these artists.

Finally... during the Spring of 2002, I recorded Beneath a prairie moon in two weeks! Looking back... not enough time, but at least I was able to complete the album.

For a brief time, this recording was one of my best selling CD's... it's now available for those who might interested in listening to my very FIRST instrumental release.

Bear in mind... it was recorded rather swiftly and it is my first attempt. There are some nice moments if you are able to move past the imperfections of this humble release.

Imperfect Perfection

Tho the artist says that this is a flawed product, it in no way takes away from the beauty of the music. This album stands right up there beside the hero's that he aimed to pay honor to...it is that good, and I can see how it was a best seller for him!

In this album we see the beginning of a great artist who's music has touched us in the short time that we have had to listen to, and enjoy, it.

Grab this one, "A Placed Called Home", and "Dreamfield"...place them in a mix rotation....and enjoy an evening of smooth sounds, great playing, and relaxing on the couch with the one you love.....

That's a matter of fact that during this years we can see a clean addressing of an ample portion more and more of people toward acoustic music, so in this years there has been a growth of amazing acoustic players in this circle and this is one of them.

This album at the beginning seems to be quite simple and discounted despite it create a good atmosphere and there are some good slices; then we can see an ascending phase that reachs the apex in "At the edge of Light" and "Visions of Plenty", also the beginning ideas are taken again in a deeper and incisive way; also good are the tracks in which there is a commistions between acoustic guitar and electric guitar.

In conclusion this is a really pleasant work, a dreamy listening: a good discover.
