The Dead Horse Revival is the resurrection of an old song (called 'The Dead Horse') that I wrote when I was a teenager. (2002)
Song of Odysseus features Jake Bracken on bass (licensed with his endorsement). Cycling is one of my principal hobbies, and the lyrics were composed during a ride. (2001-2002)
Green Thumb and Wormwood were recorded for a children's program on a local television station. 'Green Thumb' was used as the music track for a commercial which was repeated several times daily for a few months. Cyberspace is derived from a similar recording. (2003)
Oasis is dedicated to my lovely wife, Marisa. I consider this to be the best track on the album. (2003)
Sketch of a Sunrise was almost entirely improvised. It was a quick recording that was used to solidify a few ideas, and I have since completed the composition with lyrics, etc. I am planning to make a more careful and polished recording for my next project. Perhaps I should have left the song off of this album - it is difficult for many listeners to overlook flaws in a recording and hear a song's potential. (2004)
Overall, this is a rather disjointed album. It is simply an aggregate of different things I recorded over the course of a few years, with no attempt to collect them under a common theme or anything.
Merci
I think you are well on your way to making some nice music. Just get a good vocalist especially for that first song and you guys are set. As I said the vocal parts needs a bit of work but other than that you guys have a nice melody. Good Job and Good luck.
Le midi c'est joli,
Le VST c'est laid,
Le DXI aussi,
ROLAND dégoût
Félicitation
hey it's not bad you know!Hum...the first song need a singer but it's not so ugly it's very quiet, the vocals are somtimes not very well, but If it's a first demo it's good..I don't know how many time you have take to make the songs but this ones are short !Give time to time some songs are for me unfinish...one word work !And don't hear the other people! You have a strange musical world with many colors and other nice things ...the problem here it's the midi file,or the electronic instruments we aren't all musician on this site...Good luck on you musical way !
