Overall, this is a rather disjointed album. It is simply an aggregate of different things I recorded over the course of a few years, with no attempt to collect them under a common theme or anything.
- The Dead Horse Revival is the resurrection of an old song (called 'The Dead Horse') that I wrote when I was a teenager. (2002)
- Song of Odysseus features Jake Bracken on bass (licensed with his endorsement). Cycling is one of my principal hobbies, and the lyrics were composed during a ride. (2001-2002)
- Green Thumb and Wormwood were recorded for a children's program on a local television station. Cyberspace is derived from a similar recording. (2003)
- Oasis is dedicated to my lovely wife, Marisa. (2003)
