This album is a collection of my best ambient works written between 2000 and 2009.

To me ambient music is the most powerful form of music, no other form of music is able to get inside your mind and manipulate your mood as easily and strongly as ambient. It can't invoke every mood, but it can certainly be used to bring about a calm environment, or a melancholic mood, introspection, contemplation or sadness. It can also evoke a sense of freedom and floating, a detachment from reality, it can bring about an almost trance like meditative state or simply make you sleep.

For me ambient music is very personal, I write in many styles, but I can only write ambient music when I am in a sad or melancholic frame of mind. Many of these songs are linked to poignant events or periods of my life that are reflected in the music.

Many of these songs are purposely long and slow, very subtle with minor changes and transitions, whilst some are more structured and defined. If you don't enjoy ambient music you may not like this album, if you've never listened to an ambient album I hope you enjoy this one, and for those of you that do enjoy ambient I hope I have created something that you can take away and listen to time and again.

I love this album. Just the most amazing tracks! I have so many ambient works and this has now added to being one of my favorites. Really helps with sleep and always on my ipod when I need to relax. I hope there is more to come and wish sion great success and greedily want more!

I have been listening to this a lot....I think I'm going to donate to this artist.
The sounds and layers are great....The beats nice and steady downtempo...with some killer bass! Very well mixed,recording levels are high without being distorted...Overall an excellent work...I don't have a favorite track because I love the whole album. Well I am partial to the 1st track!

Singulièrement atmosphérique !

Voilà un album digne ce nom. Cosmique, space, planant à souhait, tous les bons ingrédients sont réunis pour créer l'album purement et simplement atmosphérique !

Qui ne connaît pas le cultissime et tout premier vinyle "Oxygène" de JM.Jarre ? "Innerspace" pourrait très bien s'en approprier la suite logique avec sa touche personnelle en plus. Quant au fameux "Rain on a lonely night", je l'inclus dans le second opus, j'ai nommé "Equinoxe", sorti 2 ans après en 1978.

Les 2 derniers morceaux m'ont paru un peu trop lents et minimalistes à mon goût et c'est la raison pour laquelle je n'ai mis que 8/10. Car il est difficile aussi (faut bien le dire) de trouver la perfection. Ca arrive mais c'est rare ! Quoi qu'il en soit, l'ensemble tient la route et ne se disperse pas dans des contrées différentes.

J'espère un second opus dans la même lignée...

Very relaxing - hypnotic - perfect dreamscape. Sleep inducing, for me, like listening to a gentle warm wind-storm on a beach by the sea, on an island far away, in a tropical fairy tale - I am lying in my hammock swaying gently to and fro, to and fro. And these are the lovely sounds that I hear.
