Projekt dust|box powstał jeszcze bez nazwy około roku 1999 w kilku mądrych mniej lub bardziej głowach. Przehibernował w cieniu innego naszego projektu (ios) aż do lata 2003 , kiedy to w trakcie garażowej sesji nagraniowej powoli nasze pomysły zaczęły się kierunkować, a rozjechane kurzowe obrazki w waveformach stały się podstawą nazwy, którą przyjeliśmy. Pierwszy utwór dust|box - first sleep zapoczątkował całą koncepcję trochę innej muzyki, krążącej po orbitach świadomości i drgającej pozytywną wibracją z tyłu głowy. Idea pierwszego snu ma swoje podłoże w pojęciu nieświadomości zbiorowej. Obecnie zbyt wiele zanieczyszcza nasz "collective unconscious" byśmy mogli spojrzeć na świat trochę inaczej. Bardziej pierwotnie. Nie bojąc się instynktów. Pierwszy sen jest dla wielu ludzi snem ostatnim. Życie (które jest jak przejażdżka w parku rozrywki, ma wzloty, upadki, ale trzeba pamiętać że to wciaż tylko przejażdżka w parku, nic więcej) mija jednym rytmem, a wszelkie próby dostrzeżenia chociażby tego, że ściany oddychają, kończą się niepowodzeniem, gdyż uwiązane są żelazną logiką. Dust|box jest pudłem pomysłów, od zawsze żywym, kartonowym potworem z każdego strychu. Zbiera ulatujące myśli, przeżarte książki i zardzewiałe sprzęty domowe. Z ich połączenia powstają dźwięki.

Original, professional quality, quality of the compositions...
Not really easy leastening music, but trully great job.
Everything is right in place. Voice, musicians...
This issue is a perfect 10.
Really a new wind of change coming from the east.
My only regret : too short....

On est sur le régistre expérimental, mais écoutable...
Un très bon travail de studio, tout est bien place. Les voix, les musiciens...
Ce CD est parfait.
Mon seul regret, c'est qu'il soit si court.

Estremamente sperimentale ma ascoltabile alla stesso tempo... risultato? Ottimo, coraggio premiato.

E' un bel viaggio ascoltarlo dall'inizio alla fine.

Wow. Questa è la parola che mi è venuta in testa dopo aver ascoltato questo album. Wow perché è tra le cose più originali e alternative che ho sentito negli ultimi tempi. Wow perché di sicuro non è un album facile. Io mi ritengo un ascoltatore molto dinamico, mi adatto a tutti i tipi di musica, dal rock all'elettronica, ma di fronte a questo lavoro (di superba fattura) sono rimasto un po interdetto... Sono sicuro di essere di fronte ad un buon concept album, originale e molto alternativo. La fusione di due mondi diversi. Ma le mie orecchie ne hanno goduto? Non lo so ancora. Di sicuro mi ha molto emozionato, questo si.
Un 7 ci sta tutto.. e di sicuro si merita un ascolto più approfondito. Poi vedremo.. come ho scritto, non facile.

Wow. That's the word that popped up after finishing listening to the album. Wow 'cause it's one of the most original and alternative things I've listened to in a while. Wow 'cause this anin't an easy album. I'd like to think to myself as a very flexible listener, I like different styles, from rock to electro, but this one leaves me with a lot of question marks... I'm sure this is a good (even very good) concept album, very original and very alternative. The mix of two different worlds. But did my hears like it? I'm not sure yet. It touched me, it touched my emotions and feelings, that's for sure.
It's a full 7 for now, and it deserves a deeper listening. Then I might change my mind.. as I said, that ain't easy!

Un nouveau style.

Un album assez original avec des musiques au sonorités rock mais qui se mélangent avec une originalité électronique. C'est pas mal et c'est assez profond.
C'est un peu expérimental et très intéressant. C'est un style rock "non convientionnel" qui est un peu dissonant parfois mais souvent frissonnant.
Un mélange d'angoisse et de mystère dans ces musiques !
Une bonne expérimentation !
