I quite liked the first track, nothing too imposing on the senses, certainly no assault on reason, far from it. Va follows it up with the same ambience that is relaxing and calm, although to be fair I can see marac's point, though to be even fairer it's not excessive and just about gets away with it in this track. The third track, fills me with hope as my speakers resound to some fairly nice sounds. Again still very much ambient electronica and quite minimalist in a way.
SaReGaMa spices the Al Gore track up nicely, adding a bit more depth and complexity, though still retaining the relaxed atmosphere, a nice reworking. Sounds like a good collaboration. Then, to Morning and it is almost the tedium of another day, which may be more of the sense of monotony comes into play. That's either a sensation captured well, or an accumulated effect of the underlying ambience.
That leaves Silla, a kind of mild dubstep, and in essence a revelation in terms of the depth of the spirit in conception. Maybe it is all summed up in the last track nominally, For the fun... Question is, was that sense of fun communicated well enough and it's a yes and no answer, and open to interpretation again. Same as my former review of Upheaval (see my profile page, to get the fuller picture), you have to be in the right frame of mind to find 'fun', or any other attribute, acceptable. Strangely enough the last track seems to be the saving grace by means of a little diversification in instrumentation and its application. Much more interesting, though sadly short in time. It kind of got there in the end.

Interesting ambient electronica. It's a very calm album and I must say some parts are a little too monotonous for me. But still it is a very good recording and I recommend it to every fan of electronic music. I just prefer a more industrial side of Nikila. Check out her other album "YD" - it is a true masterpiece.
