...with their predominantly synthesized sound, the “NEWSLIPS” are living their dream of creating Indie Pop. Their lyrics, which definitely fall into the category of progressive rock, top the songs off. How it all begun… On a winter evening in the "Tonwerk" in Hamburg / Germany, the "NEWSLIPS" were born. After starting in small clubs, with even smaller crowds, the band had more and more gigs in bigger clubs like "Stairway" (G), "Kir (G)", "Knust" (G), "Thomas Read (G)", "Logo" (G) and "Große Markthalle" (G). Within a very short time the “NEWSLIPS” were present on the big hanseatic stages. In the meantime, they have also appeared on TV and their songs have been played by radio stations such as "Radio Hamburg" (G), "Delta Radio" (G) and “Sputnik (MDR)” (G).
