first of all:
this should not be taken too serious
it's just an experiment, based on a more than 10 year old tape.
how does THIS happen...?
takin' an old track of a band called 'TROUBADIX', named 'ORGAS 1'
i played bass on that track and did the drum-programming, original song can be downloaded here:
cutting out pieces of that track and decelerating the track-speed
(Audacity - from 78 to 33/3)
manipulating the pieces with Audacity's Wah-Wah, Delay and Echo,
looping some of the fragments, some made to be played backwards.
doubling the final track with other volume and delay.
putting the slices together.
and this is the result....
definitely 'LoFi', but that's what i expected by using old tapes.
i named it 'patchwork', because that hits the point
'reprise' is a drone-version of parts of the track.
