Ramp is the pseudonym of Irfon-Kim Ahmad for ambient, IDM, industrial, experimental electronic and soundtrack music, or wherever else the soundwaves take him. While Ramp has existed since the late 1980s in various forms with various members, the current incarnation is in its infancy, exploring and finding its place in the world. Expect there to be changes, pathways explored, pathways forsaken. It's hard to write about yourself in the third person and with this pseudo-arty tone. I'm me. I'm a fairly personable, approachable guy. I like to fiddle with sound. I'm still exploring applying structure to that sound. I like to think that my music is fun, but it's ultimately written for me.
