Vate began as a simple and playful experimentation on a humble keyboard back in 1988. In 1999, after having gathered some music made only for myself, I found Internet as a way to show the work I had done in the past two years.
Since then, I’ve been participating in the Mexican electronic scene, sometimes along many collectives, and sometimes as a stranger.
"Electronic fusion artist Vate cuts up solid breakbeats with music styles from this world and beyond. Vocal samples in the midst of Dark Ambient drops make a powerful political statement."
Lycos.com
"Very fine ambient-electro sounds."
Neuronales Netzwerk
"The case of Vate is representative of an underground creativity that after several years of search and experience, converges with the possibilities of the digital technology and thus to the capability to share his art."
