Schöne Melodien, mehrstimmig vorgetragen, stimmungsvolle Ideen zusammengestellt zu Songs, die eine angenehme Atmosphäre verbreiten - ohne, dass das gewisse Indie-Feeling dabei zu kurz kommt.
Gitarre, Bass und Schlagzeug begleiten das Ganze, hin und wieder unterstützt von träumerischen Mundharmonika-Einlagen. Sehr gut gefallen mir auch die Gitarrenpickings.
Zu kritisieren hätte ich eigentlich nur den Mix, der noch optimiert werden könnte (OK, eine 8-Spur Tapemaschine macht das nicht unbedingt einfach) und das Zusammenspiel ist an manchen Stellen noch etwas "unaufgeräumt", hakelig - aber wie gesagt, nur an einzelnen Stellen.
Insgesamt ein schöne stimmungsvolles Album, das auf mehr hoffen lässt.

This album has nice open and laid back clean guitar sound. The drumming is light and refreshing. Occasional use is made of mouth organ.
Lead singer Evelyn has a lovely voice but it sounds like all the band members are called on to assist with the singing. Some of the tracks have lovely harmonies.
A nice selection of songs with plenty of variety keep the music fresh.
The sound quality on this album is excellent.
