Kippik has a very interesting approach to his/her music. The tracks have very catchy sounding riffs and melodies, while remaining in the retro realm. Nice job with the vocals in the first track as well. I can't understand them, but the tunes all go well with the track. I was most impressed with the firt track, makes sense though considering that almost every artist puts "the" track of the album at the beginning. The rest of the tracks sound a little game-oriented. The vocals on the second track are decent as well, but not as impressive as the first track. All in all, a very interesting album. Give it a try if you are in an energetic mood. Keep up the good work!
I really like the ideas behind some of the tracks. In general tracks seem to lack clarity of sound, and more importantly for me, the full spectrum. It sounds like I'm listening to it through laptop speakers, when in all actuality I'm using some pretty nice headphones. I think that if some better samples were used, and more effects were present I would enjoy this album much more than I do, but not to say that I don't enjoy it. It's still pretty good. Give it a try.
Dark track, almost wish there were some hip-hop vocals present. I think that would really set it off. Nice beat nonetheless. Nice work KaOS! This track is definitely a fav!
This album is really good, definitely fresh and there is a lot of variety among the tracks themselves (not the same thing over and over again). The guitar on the second track is exceptional! I really like all the sounds and the genre isn't exactly one that is abundant here on Jamendo. Congrats Oursvince, nice work!
This album is pretty relaxed for the most part. If you like chill electronica you should try this album out. It has some decent vocals, something that most of the electronica albums on Jamendo do not have. Good beats, vocals, and solid basslines are what make this album what it is. Nice job Vate.
For being a single, it's not what I was expecting. It definitely needs more flare, which can be accomplished by using more hits and percussion as well as delay effects. It's somewhat minimalist, if that's what you were going for then congrats.
This album sounds pretty professional. Sometimes the melodies drift a little too much for me. Some of the little riffs clash, and I'll agree with what SaReGaMa said about the percussion overtaking the track in some aspect. All in all a nice job though.
If you really like this music search for a webstation by the name of GrooveSalad. It has all kinds of music like this.
This album is pretty good. It's laid back for the most part and there are always interesting sounds present. It really reminds me of some role playing game, running around and trying to find something on a level. With that being said, I guess it would just be easier to say it reminds me of the Final Fastasy series. Progression is always present, which is good in this sort of genre. Very nice job Jax! Your friends had some very good brutally honest input if you ask me.
If you like effects and a variety of genres this album is for you. It starts off with some softer sounding songs accompanied by some piano synths and such. Later on the album morphs into what would be "break-up" moments in love I would think. They are very hard, industrial sounds with so much effect you don't know what to concentrate on in the tracks. Some people might not like that, but I'm down for some confusion once and awhile.
Give it a try.
Nice work Dee[J]Lux
Nicely done! I really like the traditional sounds mixed with some new ideas. Great mixing and effects. Keep up the good work.
