Me encanta este album. Plantea una serie de piezas que juguetean entre el ruido y la belleza, alternando perfectamente entre ambas. En particular "La posibilidad de las alternativas" consigue sumerjirte en olas de extraños sonidos que te transportan.
El mayor punto positivo de "El hombre unidimensional" es la delicadeza al aproximarse a los temas. Incluso cuando el ruido te cubre, hay un hilo conductor melódico que te envuelve en atmósferas espaciales.
Una obra estupenda.
Conocí esta obra partiendo de la siguiente cronológicamente, "Exilio". Mientras que "Exilio" es un album que pese a sumergirte en un asalto de murallas de ruido, mantiene un tono melódico y una aproximación audible a lo largo del album, encuentro más dificil de comprender esta obra.
Este tipo de música se mueve en una frontera muy fina entre ruido molesto y pura belleza, y creo que "Viaje" se inclina más hacia el primero que hacia el segundo.
A pesar de que hay temas que recuerdan la grandeza de "Exilio" como "El salto sobre el absurdo" o la delicadeza de "La posibilidad de las alternativas" del primer disco, muchas otras son directamente 10 minutos de ruido, como "Escila y Caribdis" y "Carne humana en la maquinaria". Quizás se necesita estar preparado para oirlas o tener otros transfondos musicales.
La calidad de sonido es excelente, y la portada de algún modo encaja perfectamente con la música.
Me encanta tu disco. Me recuerda a la época del "Phaedra" de Tangerine Dream o a Eno, y aunque trabajas con una paleta instrumental limitada, consigues darle a cada tema y cada pasaje la suficiente variedad emotiva como para que funcione. En particular "Esto se hunde y a nadie le importa", la pieza central del album, despierta una serie de emociones tristes y melancólicas, consigue evocar la idea de océano y abismo. Estoy de acuerdo de que tiene cierto "hiss" de fondo, pero seguramente esa era tu intención. Sin embargo, mi favorita es "Un valle para ser", consigues una atmósfera que me recuerda a Sigur Ros.

Somehow the compositions do not look like composed of mellotron (specially the first ones), so you have managed to find very original ways of making a 'tron sound! I mean, there is no "King Crimson"-like strings in here to be found for sure.
All through the album there is a lo-fi "folky" feeling I love. The compositions are not bad, just strange and somewhat frenzy. Some are better (La même rangaine is my favorite and some others like "Spotty's drink" evokes the image of the tavern of Star Wars set in the England of 1890) while others... well... (I can imagine "Folkloric Stuff" used as background music of a Jamaican hotel).
Your music is truly beautiful. Peaceful, calmful and expressive, it takes its time to grow on you. Set Sail for the Sleepy Sea/The Ancient Rhyme of the Future Mariner are specially beautiful and mind-blowing for me, but all compositions are thoughtful and executed with spirit.

Very thoughful album, fills you with layers and layers of dark and mysterious sounds, that start winding up your head until you are buried in it. Beautiful in a dark sense.

I do love minimalism music, and I think the playing is good and they are all very talented musicians, but I doubt whether this is the right place to put such an album. I think Jamendo and creative commons is about creating original music and sharing it with the world. Also, please note that you can face some law issues and demands for putting copyrighted music under a different license and distributing it.
All that said. I have enjoyed the versions, specially the Knee Play from Einstein on the Beach.

Tu album me ha gustado. Tiene una gran dosis de experimentación y libertad creativa a pesar de conservar belleza y delicadeza. Lo único que echo en falta es un sonido menos "plástico", menos sintetizado. La calidad de grabación es excelente y todas las piezas están tocadas con buen gusto.
Espero oir más cosas tuyas, me ha encantado.

This album is a small gem. I am hooked with its piano and guitar, neo-classical and minimalist atmospheres. Piano and guitar are played with great ability and feeling, the compositions are all beautiful and well thought, and the sound quality is good. Its only drawback is its length... it leaves you wanting more.
Some songs brought tears to my eyes... thank you.
