Some really interesting compositions with great beats and sounds, and even though there are some moments where the artist could have taken things further and not cut them off too soon - the first track is particularly guilty of this - I really enjoyed listening to this album. But maybe my own music is guilty of over extending things - who knows? My favourite track is 'Carrots and Peyote', even though I don't like the kick drum.
I never have been an enthusiast of melodic trance (I find the term to be a bit of an oxymoron), but this has elements to it which don't fit too comfortably within that genre. The track has a great intro, some nice, subtle 303 lines and an excellent tonality to the bass. Really nice production, mix and mastering.
I really like our ideas and I love your style. I think that some things - especially certain crashes and percs - could sit more neatly into the mix. Maybe a bit of reverb or more attention to the eq may do it. But this acid style of techno/trance is really one of my favourites.
Reminds me of the 'Art of Trance', 'Platypus Records', 'Trance Europe Express' days of mid-90's acid trance. My favourite era, I think.
I really like the way that this tracks begins with quite an empty, minimalistic feel to it, but then suddenly swells into something with a lot of energy. The word 'swell' is important here as the artist doesn't suddenly produce a surprising impact - which a lot less skilled people may do - but he creates an augmentation of energy quite skillfully. A good job.
I wish I could make music as good as this and as well as this. That's all I can say.
A brilliantly crafted piece of work. Those who like this style of music definitely won't regret listening to it. It's in my favourites and the widget is on my site. Great stuff!!
This is a really excellent album. Well produced and inventive. It demonstrates that really good psytrance is alive and well. It's definitely one of my favourite albums on here, and one, in all honesty, that I've ever I've heard anywhere. Great stuff!!!
For some it's irony, for others it's a way of life.
OK...one or two of the tracks are a little bit too 'hey, I'm floating in heaven' for my taste, but on the whole I really enjoy this album, so it's definitely in my favorites. My favorite tracks are Airborn, Experienced, and I love the gated synth in Calm Seas. Relentless Faith is an excellent track as well.
I've been a dance music enthusiast ever since it hit the UK shores during the late 80's. I'm an unashamed old School-ist, preferring stuff from the early to mid 90's - apart from some of the PsyTrance that's produced today which is top quality. The vast majority of my music is made using FL Studio with Reason rewired into it on the rare occasion for the odd thing or two. Mixing and mastering are usually done on Cubase SX 3, but on some occasions I just stay within FL Studio to do them. I have quite a large collection of VST synths - my favourite being Cakewalk's 'z3ta+', but I've recently grown very fond of Rob Papen's 'Predator' very quickly.
