This album has really caught my attention. It is really well constructed, with an excellent balance of musical tones and textures. The music drives really well, is very dancy, and isn't too experimental to put on at a party.

This artist is a real talent, and you should really check out this album.

My first impression of the first track was that it was almost operatic, like Rob Dougan, or perhaps cinematic is a better term. But then the album consolidates and gets more clubby through the next two tracks.

Track 4 (Experience II) is more reflective in tone, and good if a bit patchy towards the end.

"Ungrateful Men" (track 5) is a belter. My favourite track on the album, it reminds me of VAST or The Prodigy.

The last three tacks are good, but not excellent. Seem a little bit Amon Tobin in style, but almost lounge-techno.

Well, this is no William Orbit, but altogether a respectable effort as far as instrumental electronica goes.

Some tracks, most notably "Experience" and "Stop!", show interesting use of soundscape to position the listener in a sparse musical field. They don't lose their musical roots, though, in all the experimentation.

Others use more sophisticated instrumentation and harmonics to bring in the listener. "Larmes" starts with a piano intro that fades into the backdrop of choral aahs, but still holds a mechanical edge through use of percussives and a sort of barely-heard cricket noise (the insect, not the sport.)

What do they remind me of? Probably William Orbit, though not nearly so sophisticated, or Amon Tobin, but not so oppressive. If you're a fan of Craig Armstrong, too, you will get something out of this album. Also Japanese band "Machine" springs to mind when listening to the harder, more industrial, bits.

This release comprises three tracks, that are showcasing three styles of instrumental.

My major complaint was that the tracks seem truncated, not certain whether this is because the artist doesn't know how to finish off a track, or whether they have been cut short as a sampler. The tracks are complete, just the ends of them are very abrupt.

The music is smooth and professional, and the second track especially reminded me of a cross between Santana and Nicola Conte, with a nice bossa-nova rhythm in the background.

The first and third tracks would make nice background music for a corporate video or in a promotional video, or perhaps as general backing music or hold music.
I like it, but it won't see much rotation in my jukebox, as it is a bit bland and subdued. But it definitely has its place.

I like this album. It gives a good first impression. Several tracks (especially "Struttin'" and "Lovely") are very catchy, and have a real fun sound to them.

Sometimes it sounds as though the singers are trying real hard not to wake up the neighbours or something, quite hesitant and perhaps a little shaky. I thought this was most obvious on "You Are God."

Still a very impressive album that will see a high rotation in my jukebox.

Similar mainstream artists are probably Enigma, Deep Forest (the less "world" stuff), Bjork, Coldplay and Doves.

I liked this album. It is one of the first I got from Jamendo, and it is very listenable. It's not very upbeat, but still enjoyable. If you don't speak much French (like me) you can still enjoy this album, but be aware that most of the lyrics are in French.

Similar artists are Camille (the more rambunctious Camille, that is), a more melodic Eminem, and the softer bits of The White Stripes.

I'm a software developer and graphic artist with too little time, and too many hobbies.

I'm really stoked to have discovered Jamendo (which I came to via www.musicip.com, the world's best music mixer, by the way.)

I can't write music for nuts, but if you want any help with your album art, get in touch. I am an enthusiastic non-pro graphic designer, eager to make a contribution to the community.

I also design T-Shirts for a hobby, and have my very ownsome Cafepress store which you can get to via my homepage link above. Drop by if you are interested in seeing what I can do.
