...or how David Brubeck would sound in Baghdad.
I have your age and I also grew up listening to that kind of music, so I enjoyed the album. It keeps all the feeling and atmosphere of those old Jarre records.
The two tracks with guitar are lovely but seem a bit out of place, like two different artists. Thing that, in part, I like a lot, but in the other hand can be a bit confusing. What about different projects for both musical approaches?
The sound quality and production is really high, too.
In sum, enjoyable album. Keep on with your good work !
Beautiful and tender melodies, all very well performed and recorded. Listening to this music is like opening a music box.
Great music to put mi little son to sleep.
This record stands up in every objective parameter: The production and sound is amazing, all sounds clean and balanced.
It is original and brave, as well, being as it is far from any "academic" rule or easy listening stream.
But the downside, for me, is everything else. That is, the subjective part. I like music to be thrilling or amusing, and this record didn't touch me in any of those senses. That's why the final rating is lower.
Very enjoyable. The music changes mood constantly, making this a very surprising album.
One question: Why not separate the parts in different tracks?
Congratulations
Recently I've discovered Adam music and I'm pleased to have such a vast body of work before me to explore.
I find it a bit unfair when some albums receive so much attention and lots of exagerated reviews (IMHO), whilst other artists don't seem to have the attention they deserve.
Really nice sound. Music to meditate, to make a trip across the stars. Veary pleasant.
Congratulations.
This album alone makes the whole jamendo thing worth. Clear sound, beautiful moods, diversity (which is something I love in music), and in sum, it made 50 minutes of my life much more pleasant.
If I had to say something negative, it would be that the last two tracks are not the way I would finish the album. They get a bit too long for my taste, and break the overall atmosphere a litle bit.
One of my favourites without discussion. Keep on the road to perfection.
